Mimosa's were served with a side of victory as the Crown Legacy, Charlotte FC's MLS Next Pro club, took to the pitch on a hot and sunny August afternoon in search of a playoff berth against Huntsville City, Nashville SC's Next Pro club. Earning a hard fought 1-0 victory as Iuri Tavares knocked in the winner in the 91st minute! Defense was staunch on both sides with every drive into the box being closed down as players put their bodies on the line to break up opportunities time after time. Huntsville had 23 clearances on their own. But it was the Legacy's sharp passing and control that eventually broke through under a sweltering sun.
